Unit2 (continuous) : Natural Disasters / news stories









              After week   study reading  for detailed information and reading for specific information  about reading News story Natural disasters.And today I study about  reading  news story , scanning the text , write  unfamiliar words  and find their meaning from dictionaries.



                              I study reading news stories  about  earthquake and  fires

 An earthquake is the result of a sudden release of energy in the Earth's crust that creates seismic waves. At the Earth's surface, earthquakes manifest themselves by vibration, shaking and sometimes displacement of the ground. The vibrations may vary in magnitude.






Earthquakes by themselves rarely kill people or wildlife. It is usually the secondary events that they trigger, such as building collapse, fires, tsunamis (seismic sea waves) and volcanoes, that are actually the human disaster. Many of these could possibly be avoided by better construction, safety systems, early warning and planning.




      After that I think, reading News stories about natural disaster is very easy. But I think , scanning the text about natural disaster is  not very difficult. The best way to get into reading is simply to read and read  and read freely. This practice helps me develop a feel for reading.



Finally, my reading strategies is reading English Newspapers from  BBC  News , Fox News, Bangkok post, The Japan News , New York Time, Global Time,
China Daily  and News & Record. My attitudes towards the lesson is I never feel confident when I am faced with a variety of writing task in and outside of class.

Unit 2 Natural Disasters / news stories









                        Today I study reading for detailed information about News Stories Natural Disasters. I think The definition of natural disasters is any catastrophic event that is caused by nature or the natural processes of the earth. The severity of a disaster is measured in lives lost, economic loss, and the ability of the population to rebuild.





         All natural disasters cause loss in some way. Depending on the severity of disasters. Falling buildings or trees, freezing to death, being washed away, or heat stroke are just some of the deadly effects. Some disasters cause more loss of life than others, and population density affects the death count as well.




               Then there is loss of property, which affects people’s living quarters, transportation, livelihood, and means to live. However, loss of property is still a problem, and predicting many natural disasters isn’t easy.Scientists, geologists, and storm watchers work hard to predict major disasters and avert as much damage as possible. 





        After that  I think, write the words about natural disaster is very easy. But I think , Talk about natural disaster is  not very difficult. The best way to get into reading is simply to read and read  and read freely. This practice helps me develop a feel for reading.

Unit1 (continuous) : My diet





I think my diet is quite healthy.
I eat a lot of soy, rice, fresh vegetables, and fruit.


I try not to eat desserts too much.


For breakfast i usually  eat rice ,savory curry with chicken 
,stir-fried mixed vegetables. 


and at luachtime i eat green curry with chicken, fried rice, fruit . 

In the evening I eat Porridge with fish, yoghurt ,fruit.



One thing i love is yoghurt
and one thing i never eat is sweet shredded egg yolk .

Unit1 (continuous) : Japanese diet

      






               Today,  I learn  reading for general  idea and writing topic of story. The skill of writing topic sentences is essential to successful essay writing. 



  
           A topic sentence usually comes at the beginning of a paragraph, and lets your reader know what to expect from each paragraph. Think of it as the preview for a movie or a headline in a newspaper, highlighting the “main point”





           After that i lean about Japanese diet.There are seven “secrets” of the Tokyo kitchen. First, preferred foods include fish, soy, rice, vegetables, and fruit. Second, portions are small. Third, breakfast is powered by miso soup. 





           Fourth, cooking is light and gentle. Fifth, rice replaces bread. Sixth, desserts are teeny-tiny. And seventh, Japanese women don't deprive themselves or go on diets but eat small amounts of whatever they like.



                    Finally , i  think Japanese diet is very easy. But i think, writing topic  of story is  difficult.The best way to get into writing is simply to write and write . . . and write . . . freely. This practice helps me develop a feel for writing.My reading strategies is reading practical dictionary . My attitudes towards the lesson is not very easy.I never feel confident when I am faced with a variety of writing task in and outside of class.

Unit 1 : Healthy food and Unhealthy food

                      Today, I study reading for general  idea and reading 
for detailed information  about a healthy diet. Developing healthy eating habits isn't as confusing or as restrictive  as many people imagine.





                 The essential steps are  to eat mostly foods derived from plants vegetables, fruits,whole grains and legumes (bean, pears, lentils )and limit highly processed foods.Here are our guidelines for building  a healthy diet.



                    After that I practice reading for general  idea about a healthy diet.  I think,  types of food is very easy.but no more junk food is difficult, because I don't know vocabulary in paragraph.
I will practice write vocabulary from books such as  Newspaper novels  textbooks.  




                 Finally,  my reading strategies is reading practical dictionary, english grammar and more than 1000words book. 
My attitudes towards the lesson is the teacher gave a corrective feedback.When it comes to writing, my attitude is instinctual negative. I never feel confident when I am faced with a variety 
of writing task in and outside of class.
